Today is September 11th, and in order to truly honor the memory of those who died at the hands of those terrorist goat-f***ers in Al-Quaida, this writer will forego the usual platitudes, and instead point a big finger at the “Republicans” who sat back and let it happen; and then used those thousands of deaths to further their political ends whilst padding their offshore bank accounts. Think that is inappropriate, nasty, partisan, or lese-majeste? Gentle Reader, you ain’t heard nothing yet.

The 9/11 Commission report said that the Bushistas ignored the threat until after the attacks had occurred. And then, of course, they used the deaths of our fellow citizens to launch a phony war in Iraq and make themselves multi- millionaires. It’s all public record, click the links if you don’t believe it.

In stark contrast to the incompetence, malfeasance, and obfuscation of the “Republicans” stands President Obama. People told him about an imminent terrorist threat, and he quickly got started kicking their mass-murdering asses. And he told the country exactly what he was gonna do: bomb, shoot, and generally kill all of the Shaitan-worshipping thugs in ISIS. That, friends, is how you respond to an attack. Openly, firmly, and honestly.

There are still fools around the world who think the Prexy is weak, indecisive, or naive. To those idiots, we present four words:
Osama
Bin
Laden’s
Dead.
He died because Obama had the smarts and the testicular fortitude to pursue the mutt and kill his ass. The Bushies didn’t care enough to catch the motherf***er, which helped Al-Quaida grow stronger and prosper by showing the world that America would not punish those who attack us. But the Dems in the White House DID care, justice WAS rendered, and today Al-Quaida is a shattered remnant of the jihadi collossus it once was. Punishing criminals works a lot better than rewarding them.

We can best honor the victims of crimes by rendering justice on the criminals, and preventing future crimes. To the first point, not all of the criminals of 9/11 have been brought to justice yet, but Obama has made a good start. And to the second, he is doing things differently than his predecessor, thus helping to prevent a recurrence of 9/11.

Not to say that Obama’s actions are without risk. They carry enormous potential for blowback and unintended consequences. But doing nothing failed in 2001, and failed earlier this year as well. Terrorists will commit acts of terror whether men of good will do nothing, or do something. It’s what terrorists do. At least killing them, taking their money, and destroying their assets slows them down. (Again, see what has happened to Al-Quaida since PBO took office.)

The Bushies have the blood of innocents on their hands and in their wallets. Never forget, Gentle Reader. Because if we forget, it’ll happen again. Good luck to President Obama and all the brave people who fight for us every day. And bad cess to those who attack us, abandon us, and use tragedy to manipulate us.

Mr. Blunt and Cranky

After all the failures, you’d think the Baggers would realize that most Americans don’t buy their line of snake oil. But nooooooo. Even though their “mass uprisings” keep having more Porta-Potties in attendance than people, these Wingnuts keep on planning more “revolutions”, as if their bully-boy tactics will somehow win our hearts and minds if they do it often enough.

Now, though, they have cranked the crazy up to 11: they are trying to blackmail God. “God Will Bless Operation American Spring, Or Prepare For Violence” is the message from Teabagging generalissimo Harry Riley.

Mr. Riley, who apparently suffers from delusions of adequacy, says that he has “faith” that The Lord, having “bathed” their “American Spring”, will ensure its success. And if God does not make it work, then he and his cohorts will start killing people.

That, Gentle Reader, is blackmail. These Teapublicans are threatening our Congress, the President, the cops, our military, and even the Supreme Being: “give us 100% of what we want, or we will murder millions of people”. That isn’t just yap-flapping nonsense, it is a criminal act.

We may not like our elected officials (this writer strongly dislikes most of his), but they were elected. If we don’t like the results, we try harder next election. That is how Democracies and Republics operate.

But these pisswilly little buggers aren’t willing to respect the Founding Fathers and the Constitution. Also, they don’t respect the God they claim to worship. Teapubs don’t, in fact, respect anything or anyone who does not agree with and comply with them 100% of the time, 24/7/365.

When you start threatening God with waging war against your neighbors unless He grants your every wish, you aren’t just barking mad: you’re a dangerous, criminal, violent psycho case who needs to be locked in the giggle ward until you return to sanity . So it is with “Republican conservatives”, Tebaggers, and all the other gun-humping wussy-boy revolutionary wannabees.

Blackmailing God. Seriously. How can anyone support them?

Mr. Blunt and Cranky

http://tv.msnbc.com/2013/05/13/rep-bachmann-911-benghazi-are-a-judgment-from-god/  Yes, she really said it.  According to the Loon of the Lakes, 9/11/01 and 9/11/12 were not the fault of those scumbucket terrorists. Nope, God killed them, via His “judgment”.

Well, then, Michele, let’s let all the terrorists go free, since they didn’t commit any crimes, right? If God is the guilty party, can we really justify holding these men in prison? Of course not. And call off the manhunt for the despicable little s***s who murdered our embassy staff in Benghazi, too. She says God killed them as well, again by his “judgment”. So really, it’s not the fault of the miserable little weasels that we thought did the deed: no, it was God that did it. Thus sayeth Bachmann, anyway.

You don’t think that’s what she meant? Take another example of His judgment: the Flood. God (according to the Bible that Ms. Bachmann also reads) did away with every animal that walked the Earth as his judgment on us for our wicked ways: every such creature that Noah could not fit on the Ark. Also, God killed a lot of young men in ancient Egypt when Moses was trying to get the Israelites freed. So, make no mistake about it, when people die as a result of God’s judgment, it is God that kills them. And He makes no bones about it.

This Congresscritter is truly insane, people. We know that humans do evil things: we see it every day. Do we really think that God is the agent of evil, that He rapes, steals, tortures and murders us? Most of us think no such thing. Ms. Bachmann would appear to think that is the case, though. (Hint, Michele – look up “Satan” in your dictionary. You may have him and God mixed up.)

But then, what do you expect from someone who claims to have heard the voice of God telling her to make LGBT Americans into second-class citizens? Yes, she said that too: http://www.npr.org/player/v2/mediaPlayer.html?action=1&t=1&islist=false&id=183700366&m=183728685

Hey, Michele: maybe, just possibly maybe, the guilty party is not God at all. Maybe the  guilt belongs to  the despicable terrorist killers who flew those planes and pulled those triggers. A crackpot idea, perhaps, but you might want to give it a moment’s thought sometime.

Mr. Blunt and Cranky

Mr. Blunt and Cranky suspects that many religious people think so. At least, when they forward and share things like this:Image

It is hard to come to any other conclusion. Seriously, people, if God is all-powerful, then there is no way on Earth that we humans could “not allow Him in  schools”; for that  matter, there isn’t any way we could stop Him from going anywhere He wants to go.

Also, God IS “allowed” in schools: prayer has NEVER been outlawed in any school in our nation. What is not allowed is teachers forcing kids to pray in  a certain manner that the kids may not agree with. (You may have heard of this before – it is called “religious freedom”.

God gave us brains so that we may use them. Let’s all do so.

Mr. B & C

then He would not be barred from school buildings because of the quantity of teacher-led prayers therein: He would be there anyway.

And if God’s love lasts forever, He wouldn’t bail out on us because we failed to tattoo the Ten Commandments on the foreheads of each and every student: He would be there anyway.

Mr. Blunt and Cranky was raised to believe these things, and is sure most other People of the Book were as well. So when he sees stupid T-Shirts like this one:Image

The Cranky One gets even crankier. Because these people seem to think we mortals can order God about. Like, whaaaaaat? Plus, the shirt-makers did not capitalize  “You”. Idiots.

We are not more powerful than God,  and cannot “allow Him in schools”. Either God is omnipotent, omniscient, and eternal, or He isn’t. You can’t have it both ways.

Mr. B & C

This blogger wants to know why: with so many people unemployed; with businesses in need of capital; with war abroad and terrorism at home; with our nation’s infrastructure crumbling; with our information security ineffective; with censorship and surveillance rampant; with the very rights of our citizenry at risk; with deficits going ever upwards;

Why then, oh why, is the House of “Representatives” spending so much time and money  on “The Four G’s”?

God is omnipotent and does not need their help, Guns are widely available, Gays are already hugely oppressed by any measure, and Gynecologists don’t need a roomful of windbags to tell them how to practice medicine.

Get off it, people, and take care of practical matters.

Geez.
