His name is Trent Franks, (R-AZ). And he is attending a  rally advocating the overthrow of our Constitutional system of government that is being organized by a crazy child molester named Larry Klayman. Likely he’ll be giving a speech there.

Which means that Congressman Franks is a supporter of child molesters, treason and sedition.  You don’t show up at Klan cross-burnings unless you support the Klan. You don’t goose-step, utter “Seig Heil!” and wear swastikas unless you support the Nazis.

The idea that Arizona voters could elect such a scumbucket to Congress is astounding. If they re-elect this anti-American, kiddie-rapist-loving sleazeball, we’ll truly have to question their sanity.

Meanwhile, here’s where you can contact him and give him a piece of your mind. God knows he hasn’t enough of his own.

Mr. Blunt and Cranky

The Battle of Gettysburg was an example of Stupid America at its stupidest: a load of greedy, narrow-minded, ideological, partisan s***sacks decided to wage war on the other half of the country so they could be free to oppress a group of people (slaves, in that case). In the end, those the Confederates wanted to enslave won their freedom, the Yanks beat the Rebels’ asses like a drum, and a lot of innocent schmucks got their lives ruined or ended: all so a bunch of fat cats could get even fatter at the expense of their constituents. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Gettysburg

But just in case you think America has gotten over its affliction of Stupid Syndrome, you should know that we have a new and even dumber load of greedy, narrow-minded, ideological, partisan s***sacks who want to, yep, wage war on the rest of us so as to be able to oppress a group of people (broadly speaking, anyone who is not a while male Dominionist “Christian” “Republican”). Then as now, these people are treasonous, anti-American scumbuckets who want to overthrow our government. And then as now, all too many of us are not paying attention.

Here, in their own words, you can read their call to arms. And this is a literal call to arms – they mean to grab weapons and start killing people so as to make America into a theocracy. Don’t believe the Cranky One? Read these quotes from David Lane, an adviser to Michele Bachmann, Newt Gingrich, Rick Perry, and Rand Paul:

“You ask, “What is our goal?” To wage war to restore America to our Judeo-Christian heritage with all of our might and strength that God will give us.”

Or perhaps you’d prefer some Peter J. Leithart:

“If America is to be put in its place – put right – Christians must risk martyrdom and force Babel to the crux where it has to decide either to acknowledge Jesus an imperator and the church as God’s imperium or to begin drinking holy blood.”

Yes, that’s right: these “Republicans” want to force you to “drink holy blood”. And lots of you voted for them. Lots of you will vote for them AGAIN. That is Stupid America raised to levels of stupidity hitherto unimagined.

Today we should remember the brave Civil War soldiers who were killed on behalf of ideological extremists who had built their fortunes of the bones of people they had enslaved. Ask yourselves this question: what is the best way to honor their sacrifice? Is it:

Number A: repeating the errors of the past by launching a second civil war and attempting to overthrow a duly constituted government, or

Letter 2: coming together as a nation by rejecting these calls for violence, inequality, hatred, treason and wholesale bloodshed.

This writer picks the second option, and hopes you will also.

Mr. Blunt and Cranky

Adam Kokesh has decided that threatening D.C. with thousands of loaded rifles was a bad idea after all, so he has cancelled the “protest”. Seems that local enforcement was determined to, you know, enforce the law.

Mr. Kokesh (spellcheck wanted to change this to “hashish”, which is weirdly appropriate) now wants his “followers” to march around state capitals on July 4th whilst carrying loaded rifles instead: he wants them to demand that the states dissolve the Federal government in what he calls ” the final American Revolution” .

Krazy Kokesh says if threatening lawmakers with loaded long guns does not do the trick, then an armed revolution “may be necessary”.

Mrmmmm, Kokey old buddy, if we really were so oppressed that we needed a revolution, do you think the big bad Fed’ral Gummint would be letting you out of prison so you could “organize” your little comic-opera putsch? Think about it.

Mr. Blunt and Cranky

So, the NRA forced a vendor to take down a bleeding Obama target that they were displaying on the floor at the recent NRA convention. . The vendor will still sell you one of these “zombies” that bleed when you shoot them, but they are hidden from view. So, yeah, the NRA and the vendor in question are totally down with the whole assassination and sedition thing, yup.

You can also buy “The Ex”, a lingerie-clad bleeding target so you can pretend to brutally murder a woman what done you wrong a zombie that looks nothing at ALL like a human being, nonono, notatALL, why, how could you even suggest such a thing. So, the NRA is down with the whole “kill those damn bitches” thing too, yup .

Between promoting Assassination and spousal abuse , it’s a wonder the NRA has time to focus on our Second Amendment rights. Oh, wait, that’s right: they don’t care about that stuff anymore.

Mr. Blunt and Cranky

Oh, by the bye: you can see pictures of both targets, pre- and post-shot to s***, by clicking the links. This writer chose to spare your stomach, but go right ahead and click it you like,

And when someone from the Rocky Mountain Gun Owners says “hunt”, we can safely assume he means “shoot”: hunting deer = hunting humans.

Dudley Brown, whose organization was at one time judged too bats*** crazy for the NRA , said and we quote: “there’s a time to hunt deer. And the next election is the time to hunt Democrats”. That, people, is a threat, plain and simple.

You can say “Awww, he doesn’t really mean it“, but that would be very foolish. One recent example tells us why:

A few years back, Sarah Palin (also a devotee of shooting metaphors) published a picture of Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords’ district in the crosshairs of a telescopic sight.. And as we all know, Ms. Giffords was shot and nearly killed soon afterwards.

Ms. Palin tried to pretend that her threatening language and images had no connection to the violent crimes committed after she published them. But that is very hard to believe. Seriously, folks, if politicos didn’t think their words had an impact, would they bother saying them? Of course not. They say what they say in order to accomplish a goal, and they mean what they say. The only time such slimy weasels pretend otherwise is when they are called on their violent rhetoric, or if there are consequences to the hate speech they spew.

Like Palin, Mr. Brown used language that strongly suggests shooting and killing people. And also like her, he’ll strenuously deny that when if a Democrat gets murdered. But he’ll still have blood on his hands.

And like Palin (or Pilate) he can pretend to wash it away. But the stain of blood can never be removed from the hands of a killer, or one who urges others to kill.

Mr. Blunt and Cranky

Remember these Christian Soldiers?Image

Yep, the ones who think Jesus wants us to pack hidden heat so as to waste each other as needed. Them are the ones.

This week, they’re running a “Constitution Class”. The good Lord knows what they’re  teaching each other, but if their “understanding” of Constitutional law is anything like their “understanding” of Holy Scripture, this is some pretty scary stuff.

No picture of the Church sign this time: we considered the wisdom of pulling into the parking lot of a church full of gun-crazed Fundagelical loons, any number of whom are likely carrying weapons, and we decided that was NOT the prudent course of action. Kind of like driving by an Al-Quaida training camp – do you REALLY want to drop in on them?

Mr. B & C

P.S. A point of clarification: These zeebs are free to use their First and Second Amendment rights, as we see them doing (Mr. Blunt and Cranky is a Presbyterian who uses all of his Constitutional rights, after all). The reason separation of church and state was brought up here is this: entirely too many Americans (including elected and appointed “representatives” and officials at all levels and in all branches of government) want to trash the Establishment clause and make our nation into a Fundagelical Theocracy.

One thing our Founders knew well were the dangers of such a form of government, but too many of us have forgotten. So when we see churches like this one arming themselves and seeking political power, we need to be aware of the threat they pose

Granted, a lot of people don’t like the President. Mr. Blunt and Cranky would venture to say that this has likely been true of every President. And during the reign of Bush the Dumber, many people on the Left and in the Center waxed quite wroth at his every action. Indeed, individuals of many political persuasions said some pretty inflammatory things, sometimes inviting visits from those polite, clean-cut Secret Service boyos (you, know, the ones with the Matrix-style earpieces). It got scary at times, indeed it did, the things that were said and the way in which they were said.

But things are different today: instead of individuals advocating resistance and/or revolution (armed and otherwise) against the lawful authorities, we have government officials urging such actions. One example of loud-mouthed politicos speaking thus:

http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/lookout/texas-judge-warns-possible-civil-war-president-obama-230545603.html

Short version for the link-averse:

A local judge is convinced that Obama will marshal the troops of the United Nations and lead them to his little pisspot of a Texas town to take it over.

First of all, why in Hell would anyone want to do so? And secondly, how could anyone who has watched the United Nations believe that it could agree upon such a course of action? The U.N. can’t agree on what to have for lunch or who should pick up the check, ferchrissakes: they are going to agree on taking over the United States and who would fund such an operation? Puh-leeze.

There is a larger issue in play here: instead of concerned citizens  talking smack against the government, it is governmental officials talking smack against the government. Government against government. The last time we heard this type of bluster, one government organization promising to shoot the s*** out of another government organization?

Oh, it was a little tiff in the middle 1800’s. The Civil War. You might have heard of it.

To all the blowhard paranoid conspiracy theorists who are currently threatening armed revolt while also sucking on the taxpayers’ collective teat: shut the f***ing f*** up, mother***ers. You are paid to be part of government, not to destroy it. There are words for people like you: treasonous, seditious, traitorous…little pleasantries like that.
